Ivory Roman Silk Suit Set with Scalloped Pink Embroidery for Festive Galas
Step into the spotlight without the weight of heavy embellishments.
This isn't just a suit; it's a study in balance. The ensemble centers around the lustrous drape of premium Roman Silk, a fabric chosen for its ability to glow under ambient light while remaining breathably cool against the skin. The ivory canvas is interrupted—boldly yet gracefully—by an architectural neckline featuring geometric thread work in fuchsia pink and sage green.
Unlike standard printed suits, the tactile luxury here comes from the scalloped cutwork detailing. The dupatta, crafted from sheer, ethereal fabric, features laser-cut scalloped edges that frame your silhouette in soft waves of color. Scattered sequins catch the light with every movement, creating a shimmer that whispers luxury rather than shouting it. This is the outfit for the woman who values comfort as much as she values making an entrance.

WHEN AND WHERE TO STYLE THIS SALWAR SUIT?
-
The Occasion: Ideal for Day Weddings, Roka Ceremonies, festive pujas like Diwali/Rakhi, or a sophisticated Office Diwali Party.
-
The Season: The Roman Silk fabric makes it trans-seasonal; breathable enough for distinct spring/summer events, yet substantial enough for autumn evenings.
-
How to Style: Pair with gold Chaandbali earrings to echo the sequins. Footwear should be open-toe block heels or embellished Juttis in nude or metallic gold.
-
Accessories: Carry a matching potli bag (as shown in the image) in a contrasting sage green or pink to break the monochrome ivory.
This Roman Silk three-piece suit functions as a versatile bridge between casual ethnic wear and heavy bridal couture. It works by utilizing the inherent sheen of the silk to provide a dressy appearance without the physical weight of stone-heavy lehengas. It is specifically distinguished by its scalloped cutwork borders, a trending design element that adds a feminine, wavy edge to the hemline and dupatta, replacing traditional straight taping.
Who is this for? This ensemble is designed for the modern woman who attends multiple events in a single day—transitioning from a religious ceremony to a social lunch—and requires an outfit that resists creasing while maintaining a structured silhouette.
Why choose this over georgette or cotton? While cotton is casual and georgette is flowy, Roman Silk offers a structured fall that hides body contours while providing a formal sheen, making it superior for photography and semi-formal events.
Style Tips
Pair with delicate jhumkas and a sleek bun for a classic look, or statement studs and open waves for something modern. A contrast potli or clutch lifts the whole outfit.
Fit Tips
For the best drape, choose a petticoat that matches the fabric's weight. If you are between two sizes, take the larger one — our karigars can always take a garment in, but letting it out is limited by the seam allowance.
